Dip molding

Dipping is to spray the plastic powder on the metal evenly by heating the metal to form a plastic film, or put the dipping liquid into the metal parts to cool the metal parts and then wrap the plastic on the metal surface. This process has the characteristics of no need of mold, low processing cost, easy forming, processing various shapes and so on, and is widely used. However, the application of fence products are powder impregnation.

According to the need for heating, it can be divided into hot dip and cold dip. According to the raw materials, it can be divided into liquid dip and powder dip.

Spray plastic

Plastic spraying refers to a surface treatment method of spraying plastic powder on products.

Spray powder mainly includes acrylic powder, polyester powder, etc. Dipping is a kind of plastic coating process, which is to coat the plastic on the substrate (generally metal), such as the clothes hanger, the handle of pliers, the rubber sleeve on scissors, various handrails and so on.

Plastic spraying is also known as electrostatic powder spraying. It uses an electrostatic generator to make the plastic powder charged and adsorbed on the surface of the iron plate. After baking at 180-220 ℃, the powder melts and adheres to the metal surface. Plastic spraying products are mostly used in indoor boxes, and the paint film shows flat or matte effect.

Comparison of spray and dip processes

The colors of the two processes can be yellow, red, white, blue, green and black.

Compared with these two processes, the cost of plastic dipping is relatively low, because the price of plastic dipping powder is lower than that of iron. However, after the completion of the product, the quality of the spray molded product is better than that of the plastic dipping product, and the weight is relatively heavy, but the surface of the product is very good and smooth.
